In an interview with Al-Arabiya TV, Dr. Mustafa al-Ani from the “Persian Gulf Research Center” said: “Iran’s border is the main passage for the militias who go to Iraq directly or indirectly.”

Dr. Al-Ani added: “Due to poor intelligence in the Iranian borders, these militias cross border easily. The Iranian regime pursues its interests in Iraq and because of these interests it cooperates with Al-Qaeda.”
