Al Sharqiya TV, 19 Oct 2013 – Prominent MEP Struan Stevenson, head of the Delegation of Relations with Iraq, said $800 million dollars is smuggled out of Iraq on a weekly basis and deposited into Swiss bank accounts, pouring into the pockets of corrupt individuals. If corruption and this tragic situation continue it might actually lead to a stopping of support from Europe to Iraq, he said.
