On the trash crisis the Lebanese Environment Minister Mohamed al-Mashnuq refused to accept the responsibility and described this problem as resulting from many years of inflation. He went on to emphasize he will remain in the government.
On the other hand, the “We Want Accountability” movement called for a rally at the “Riyadh al-Sol’h” Square and this demonstration will be focused against crackdown by security forces and holding corrupt officials accountable.
