The Kurdistan T.V. Sep. 2, — The governor of Irbil Province who traveled to areas under shelling by Iranian regime witnessed himself the continuation of shelling by IRGC artillery in border region.
The Kurdistan T.V. reported the shelling continued for an hour during a visit by an Iraqi authority delegation along with the governor to the border areas in Kurdistan. The shelling left no doubt about the intentions of Iranian regime and its behavior against the local residents in that area.

The governor of Irbil Nowzad Hadi emphasized “there is no excuse and reason for shelling, and making such a situation is not justified. The people are terrified and they are inflicted with casualties and losses while the shelling still continues.”

He added: “although the shelling of the border areas in Kurdistan is clear breach of international agreements and conventions, at the same time it is violation of Iraq’s sovereignty and independence . the villagers, refugees and deprived people of area are the only party who are inflicted.”
