According to Al-Iraqiya TV On May 30, the Kurdiatan’s region Interior Ministry denied Khamenei’s remarks on Tuesday regarding the presence of American training centers for opponents of the Iranian regime.
The Agence France Presse reported: “A senior Iraqi Kurd official on Wednesday joined the United States in rejecting Iranian accusations that the US military trains separatist Kurdish rebels for undercover work in Iran.”
Jabbar Yawar, the spokesman for the Peshmerga ministry, said:” it appears that Khamenei has received incorrect information.”
