In an interview with Euro News TV, Walid Jumblatt, leader of the Lebanese Progressive Socialist Party, asked the Iranian regime to stop its arms and financial support for Hizbullah’s militias.

He said: I have repeatedly said and I repeat today that the regional powers, namely Iran and Syria have turned Hizbullah into a force against the Lebanese legal government by their military, political and financial supports; I want these supports to be stopped.

Jumblatt emphasized on necessity of disarmament of Hizbullah and said: No party can have its arms in order to willfully decide about war and peace. If Hizbullah allows itself to make such decisions is because it is an entity created by the regimes of Iran and Syria.
