
Following the Jeddah summit in Saudi Arabia, US Secretary of State John Kerry reported 10 Arab countries have announced their readiness to fight against ISIL. In this summit the US top diplomat and his counterparts in the Middle East exchanged viewpoints on forming a coalition against ISIL.
Foreign ministers and senior diplomats of Turkey, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan and Saudi Arabia took part in the Jeddah summit.
Kerry added he will be meeting with Middle East country officials to form as large a coalition as possible against ISIL.
Iran and Russia have not been invited to join the international coalition against ISIL.
