In a statement, Mrs. Barbara Saltamartini, Italian MP from ruling coalition, supported the third option introduced by President-elect of the Iranian Resistance and declared: It is necessary that we ask the European Union to support the NCRI and the brave leadership of Mrs. Maryam Rajavi.

This Statement partly reads: It is a long time that the women of the National Coalition Party (AN) are involved in a struggle standing by the Iranian Resistance for a free and democratic Iran; along with this I strongly support demonstration against the suppressive clerical regime’s policy.

She added: In my view the time for a public struggle that include all political and social forces has come and it is essential that we ask the EU to support the NCRI and its brave leadership Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, for democratic change in Iran.
