In an interview with Italian Kronos News Agency, Franco Frattini, Italian Foreign Minister, announced: “Iranian regime’ being equipped with nuclear weapon is unacceptable, this is a disastrous mistake and would follow unpleasant outcomes.”
Frattini added: There is a concern among Arab countries regarding expansion of the Iranian regime’s nuclear program.
Kronos News Agency added: The Italian Foreign Minister distanced himself away from the recent trip of Prodi, former Italian Prime Minister, to Tehran and his visit with Ahmadinejad, and said: I had no hand in this trip. Frattini strongly condemned the statements of the Iranian regime’s President against other countries.
