Following a series of terrorist blasts on Thursday, the Iraqiya Coalition called on Nouri Maliki’s government to resign.
“The wave of explosions taking place in six provinces clearly shows the government’s weakness in controlling the security situation and the lack of a proper political climate,” Iraqiya announced.
Iraqiya Coalition Spokeswoman Meysoun al-Damalouji said the Iraqiya Coalition holds the government and its prime minister Nouri Maliki responsible for this bloodshed. She called on the Council of Representatives to assign a new government that will be able to establish security and stability throughout the country.
