In an interview with Ashariya TV, Dr. Dhafir al-Ani, Iraqi MP and Secretary General of The National Future Society, said: The Iranian regime’s meddling in Iraq is disguising and has no need for documents. I have to say explicitly that the Iranian regime has mercenaries in Iraq who advance its hostile and aggressive policies against the Iraqi people. I believe the Iranian regime will open the file of religious assassinations during the Provinces’ Council elections in order to direct Iraqis towards religious quelling.

Dr. Dhafir al-Ani added: There are political forces inside the Iraqi parliament that have very strong relations with Tehran and during this period we have witnessed their severe remarks in favor of the Iranian regime; for example, we witnessed their stances against the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI). In the first day of occupation of Iraq, leader of political groups asked the Iraqi government to pay $100 billion to Tehran’s government as war reparation, at the condition that the Iraqi people had exuded from economical embargo.

Dr. Dhafir al-Ani added: Today the Iraqis have obtained, to a high extent, the national consciousness and awareness to confront these enmities. At such a condition the Iranian regime is inevitable to end its meddling in Iraq.
