Iraqi parliament endorses report on fall of Mosul: two lawmakers

 Iraq`s parliament endorsed a report on Monday calling for the trial of former Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and dozens of other top officials in connection with the fall of the northern city of Mosul to Islamic State last year, two lawmakers said.
“We voted to send the Mosul report to the judiciary. The judiciary now has the final say,” Mahmoud al-Hassan, parliament legal panel chief, said.
Lawmaker Mohamed al-Karbouli said the vote was taken by a show of hands and passed by a majority.
