Iraqi MP Jamil Adel from the Kurdish coalition stressed on the need to oppose the upcoming visit by Ahmadinejad to Iraq, adding the Iraqi people in general are against his visit.
“I had hopes that officials in Baghdad would stand alongside the people and implement the will of the people, not to carry out regional plans and agendas,” he said.
“The fate of such officials is doomed because the people will always remain, and officials will be set aside,” Adel added.
