Following increasing internal disputes among the mullahs’ factions, one Majlis (parliament) member from Khamenei’s faction questioned Ahmadinejad’s record last year.
In an interview with a state-run media outlet, Majlis Health Commission chair Hossein Ali Shahriari revealed how people’s wealth was wasted by Ahmadinejad’s cabinet.
“Last year we had $110 billion in revenue which was unprecedented in the last 7 years. This equals to $700 billion during these years. How was all this money distributed and what are the provinces’ share in all this, such as Sistan and Baluchestan, Ilam, Bushehr and Hormozgan?” he questioned.
