Iraqi MP Hamed al-Mutlak, member of the Parliament Security and Defense Commission, said any agreement between Iran and Iraq for cooperation between the two countries on sharing intelligence, military technology and training will be subject to Tehran’s influence over Iraq.
In response to a question by al-Sumariya TV regarding the signing of a military cooperation pact between the two countries, the Iraqi MP said this contract is not signed in a climate of cooperation between the two countries. In fact, it is signed under terms where Iran has influence over Iraq, and the impact of this influence is obvious for everyone, he added.
