Iraqi Kurdish MP Shuwan Mohamed Taha in his recent remarks said, “Maliki’s government has proven its failure in all areas, and has presented the worst example in history of managing this country”, the country’s NINA news agency reported.
“Maliki’s problems are not limited to disputes with the Kurdistan Province. In addition to that, Maliki has problems with the Iraqiya slate and Shiite factions inside the National Alliance as well,” he added.
The NINA news agency also reported Iraqi MP Hossein al-Sharifi from the Ahrar faction lashed out at Maliki and said, “There have been no advances in security”.
This MP issued a statement saying, “Terrorism continues to ravage Iraq and the bombings and attacks continue to this very day, taking the lives of many innocent people”. Al-Sharifi went on to ask what has Maliki achieved during his time in power other than corruption, Iraq’s wealth being stolen and its infrastructure, agriculture and industries being completely destroyed.
