In a statement, the Iraqi Kurdistan government condemned cannonade of these regions by mullahs’ regime and asked the Multi National Forces and the UN Security Council to condemn this measure.

This statement reads: “During last few weeks the Iranian regime has shelled the border regions of Iraqi Kurdistan. This measure has caused fear and abhorrence among the people and destruction of several villages and deterioration of life and displacement of thousands of villagers. The Kurdistan government strongly condemns this unjust and anti-international law cannonade and regards it as an incursion and asks the Iranian regime to halt this shelling and threats.”
