Iraq: pressure on inmates in Baghdad’s Cropper Prison

INTV, 16 Oct 2013 – The Iraqi Parliament Human Rights Commission reported those arrested in Baghdad’s Cropper Prison are suffering from harsh conditions.
“Inmates in the airport prison known as Cropper have not received food for five days and this has caused their conditions to become very concerning. Forces linked to Maliki’s office, known as the SWAT, attacked this prison and tortured the inmates,” said Iraqi MP Iman al-Mussawi, a member of this commission.
