The Integrity Commission must not delay in revealing the dossiers of major corrupt individuals and referring them to the judiciary, said Mehdi Karbalaie, representative of Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani on Friday during mass prayers.
“Political forces must not block any reforms or the accountability of any individuals, whatever post they may be in, al-Iraqiya TV reported citing the Grand Ayatollah’s representative.
“The government is responsible to provide adequate protection for judges in charge of corruption cases in order to provide for the protection of themselves and their families from various factions that support corrupt figures,” Karbalaie stipulated.
