Iraq is not anyone’s private property: Barzani

Kurdistan Regional Government President Massud Barzani in an interview with Iraq’s Azzaman daily said Iraq is not anyone’s personal property and no one can deprive the Kurds of their country.
“All options are on the table to rise against dictatorial policies. Nouri Maliki seeks to have everyone act as his own subjects,” he added.
“Forming the Dijla Operations Command is an illegal measure and the KRG will not accept anything but the dissolving of this command. Nouri Maliki thinks Kurdistan will become his subject, but we will not follow orders from anyone but God,” the KRG president added.
“Maliki should not have had the chance to carry out such dictatorial measures. I was the first person to protest Maliki’s individualist decision makings,” he continued.
