Al Jazeera TV reported in the bombing of the al-Ouja Hospital (Near Tikrit) in Iraq by Maliki fighter planes left 6 children killed and 4 others injured.
Al Jazeera TV reported as a result of Maliki planes’ attacks on Hawija in southwest of Kirkuk at least 17 civilians – most of them women and children – were left killed, along with 30 others wounded. These planes also bombed the pregnancy section of Hawija Hospital where 7 people were killed. Amongst those killed were newborns and pregnant women. Al Jazeera said it is refusing to show images of children being killed due to the gruesome and graphic nature of such footage.
