The European Union imposed new sanctions against Russia.
According to Reuters these sanctions include 24 new officials and also branches of various Russian oil and gas companies. According to these sanctions financial transactions by companies linked to the Russian government with the European Union will be very difficult.
An informed source told Reuters if Russia pulls its forces out of Ukraine these sanctions will be cancelled.
