According to Al-Hurra TV, Robert Gates, US Defense Secretary entered Oman on Saturday and discussed with its officials over the Iranian regime’s threats. The Iranian nuclear file was very high on the agenda for Gates’ discussions with the Omani officials.

Gates met for the first time with Omani military officials in Oman’s Defense Ministry and discussed officially the ways of cooperation and mutual coordination between two sides in military and security grounds.

Al-Hurra added: The analysts emphasize that Gates’ visit was in the framework of consultations between the two countries in the present regional conditions either regarding critical condition in Iraq or what is going on behind the scene about Iranian regime’s nuclear program and military strike against that regime by an international coalition.
