Iran’s state-run daily Jomhouri wrote: the significant aim of sudden visit by Bush to Iraq was to evaluate the grounds for a coupe to topple Nouri al-Maliki and to assign a person trusted by Washington to lead the Iraqi government.
The Daily added: Although Bush is facing strong resistance against his unlawful will for dismissing Nouri al-Maliki, but there is no indication of his reconsidering the issue.
Jomhouri added: Next week Gen. D. Petraeus is supposed to hand over his report to the U.S. Congress; the arrangements have been set such that the report pins the blames for insecurity in Iraq on Maliki’s government; and consequently the Bush Administration has done his responsibilities and the weak points of Maliki’s government do not let Iraq be secured.
