The Iranian regime and its paramilitary allies are targeting Iraqiya Coalition members due to the fact that Iraqiya enjoys popular support and opposes the Iranian regime’s meddling in Iraq’s political affairs, Asharqia TV reported quoting a number of Iraqiya Coalition members.
Zoheir Al-A’raji of the Iraqiya Coalition said “we are concerned regarding the security of our elected members in parliament.”
Iraqiya members say there may be chances that extremist groups such as Al-Qaeda, with the support of the Iranian regime, are behind the terror attacks on Iraqiya members to keep their political roles concealed, Asharqia added.
