Saudi Arabia’s top diplomat said Iran is working on building a nuclear weapon and this is not an option, Asharq al-Awsat reported.
“It is necessary for Iran to comply with standard international regulations, especially those that are related to this regime’s nuclear efforts in the region. Iran itself said it is pursuing a peaceful program, while it has been working on building a nuclear bomb and this is not an option. In fact, this is an issue in violation of international community laws and United Nations resolutions laws,” he said.
“We are on the verge of preventing nuclear proliferation in the Middle East. We need a Middle East without nuclear weapons and this is the policy we are pursuing,” al-Feisal added.
