Yemen National Army Chief of Staff Mohammad Ali Moqadashi said the final operations in Yemen have started and the legitimate Yemeni government will return to this country. Moqadashi has told the Saudi-based al-Riyadh daily amongst the prisoners arrested by the popular resistance forces are mercenaries from Iran, Syria, Lebanon and Iraq who had entered Yemen to support the Houthis.
He added the legitimate Yemeni government will reconstruct a new army to be equally compared in training and arms with the armies of neighboring countries.
The new army already has more than 20,000 trained fighters, he continued.
