The Foreign Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council presided by Qatar Foreign Minister Dr. Khalid al-Atiya met with their Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov in the United Nations Headquarters in New York over the Syrian crisis.
GCC Secretary-General Dr. Abdul-latif al-Ziyani also took part in this session.
The flagrant military aggression by Russia in Syria and airstrikes on the Syrian opposition and defenseless people have raised waves of concerns amongst Arab countries and states neighboring Syria.
