On Saturday, Dec 8, news agencies from Manama, Bahrain, reported that the US Defense Secretary Robert Gates called for a united front to counter the Iranian regime’s threat.
The French news agency quoted the senior US officials saying Gates called for better security conditions and confronting the Iranian regime’s threat by information sharing on its activities in nuclear and ballistic missiles programs and other threats caused by activities of Iranian regime.
Gates said: Iranian regime has never been bounded to its commitments and words for the past 29 years. The regime still trains the terrorist groups from Iraq to Beirut and elsewhere by its Revolutionary Guards (IRGC). Wherever you look you can see that Iranian regime’s policy has caused chaos, no matter what the cost is.

He said: “There can be little doubt that their destabilizing foreign policies are a threat to the interests of the United States, to the interests of every country in the Middle East…”
