Free Syrian Army general calls on Maliki to not send agents to Syria

General Mustafa Sheikh, President of the Free Syrian Army High Military Council called on Nouri Maliki’s government to not send its agents to Syria, al-Sharqiya TV reported.
This FSA general said such interferences by these agents will ignite the current sectarian situation in Syria, adding busses carrying hundreds of soldiers affiliated to known Iraqi paramilitary forces are crossing the borders on a daily bases under the supervision of Iraqi officials. These units are dispatched to participate in the crackdown of demonstrators in Syrian cities and villages, the general continued.
“The Iraqi Ministry of Interior is facilitating these measures by enterring the names of these agents in independent foreign lists to prevent their formal registration upon exiting the country,” he added. “This is equivalent to the declaration of another war.”
Regarding the Iranian regime’s Revolutionary Guards agents General Mustafa Sheikh said talks inside the FSA are taking place to determine their future, adding the Syrian regime’s efforts to have them freed at Tehran’s requests have been rejected.
