
Baghdad TV, 8 Feb 2013 – Former Iraqi government spokesman Ali Dabbaq revealed the roles of Ahmad Nouri Maliki, son of Prime Minister Nouri Maliki, and Hassan al-Saneed, Chair of the Parliament Security and Defense Commission in arms deal between Iraq and Russia.
Dabbaq, currently in the United Arab Emirates, said he would like to reveal the behind-the-scenes facts of this contract but he was fired from his post and threatened. He reiterated that Nouri Maliki’s son and a number of his advisors involved in the Russian arms deal, adding Nouri Maliki ordered his press advisor to spread out propaganda and taint Dabbaq’s image.
