During clashes near the Syrian capital of Damascus a high-ranking Assad regime officer by the name of ‘Maher Kahla’ was killed by Syrian rebels, Orient TV reported.
Assad mercenaries intended to take over warehouses near this area but the rebels were able to block them and destroy a number of their assets.
According to reports received from Damascus nearby neighborhoods witnessed further clashes between rebels and Assad forces. Also the city of Daria and residential areas have been targeted by mortar fire by Assad forces, leading to ordinary people suffering casualties and substantive damages.
