Eusebio, a human rights loving legendry star laid to rest

World football legend Eusebio was laid to rest. He was 71-years old at the time of his death and he had scored 733 goals in 745 matches.
A ceremony was held in memory of Euse/Jose Bio at Lisbon’s Benfica Stadium, his longtime football club, with around 10,000 people taking part to say their last farewell to their beloved legend.
Portugal Prime Minister Pedro Pasos Cuilio along with many other politicians took part in this ceremony. The Portuguese president announced three days of mourning and as a show of respect to Euse/Jose Bio he cancelled a ceremony in honor of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Iranian national football team hero Hasan Naeb Agha, a member of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, met with Euse Bio at a large conference in the European Parliament back in 2008. This gathering was held in the main conference of this parliament to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Benfica Footbal Club foundation.
In their meeting Hassan Naeb Agha presented to Euse/Jose Bio a book of historic Iranian pictures and an album of famous Iranian heroes executed by the mullahs’ regime, along with heroes who have joined the Iranian Resistance. Euse Bio expressed his gratitude to Hassan Naeb Agha and in Portuguese recalled his memories of the time when back in 1970 he had travelled to Iran. The two sport legends embraced each other at the end of their meeting.
