Egyptian FM calls on Iran to stop intervention in Iraq and Persian Gulf countries

al-Arabiya TV reported  Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul- Gheit called on the Iranian regime to end its meddling in Iraq and Persian Gulf nations.


According to a report aired by al-Arabiya TV, the Egyptian FM said on the verge of his trip to Iraq, “Egypt is the strategic depth of the Persian Gulf countries.” Abul- Gheit called on the Iranian regime to not intervene in Arab countries. He added signs have been seen of the Iranian regime meddling in Lebanon, Iraq, various Islamic countries and other nations in the region.
