Dr. Abdullah al-Jabouri, the president of National Front for Salvation of Diyala, in an interview with Al-Sharqia TV said the disastrous situation in Diyala province is the outcome of the direct meddling of the Iranian regime in Iraq through its affiliated militias in this province.

He said the recent security plan that was carried out in Diyala uprooted Iranian regime’s bases in Diyala and led to better security and stability in this province.

Dr. Jabouri said: the Iranian regime provides funds and training directly for al-Qaeda, which in Diyala we call it Iran’s al-Qaeda. It also helps the militias that are more loyal to the Iranian regime than to the Iraqi people.
