Canadian Defense Minister Peter MacKay announced his country’s armed forces will be ready to participate in any potential military attack against Iranian regime.
In an interview with the “Sun” daily, the Canadian defense minister said referring to the mullahs’ nuclear program Ottawa seeks to find diplomatic solutions. Yet concurrently the country must prepare itself to counter any incident, MacKay added, continuing to say this is the scenario the Canadian Defense Ministry is seriously pursuing. MacKay emphasized his ministry always has a specific plan and agenda ready.
The Iranian regime behavior towards its own people, its nuclear program and this regime’s policies has concerned Canada and other countries across the globe, MacKay added. Canada considers these dangers seriously and we are cooperating with our international partners in this field, he continued.
Canada’s policies have been on international political, military and economic crises have been in line with US and European countries.
