US Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta said Washington has been preparing and planning for military attacks against the Iranian regime nuclear facilities for a long time in case diplomatic efforts and sanctions fail in stopping the mullahs’ nuclear drive.
In an interview with the “National Journal”, Panetta said if a military attack is ordered, these measures will only be effective with US participation.
In his memoirs, former US President George Bush had revealed that from his presidency he had ordered Pentagon to prepare a plan to attack the Iranian regime’s nuclear facilities.
