Baghdad-based Azzaman daily reported civil organizations in Iraqi Kurdistan supporting the call by Iraqiya Coalition leader Dr. Ayad Allawi for the expulsion of Iranian regime envoy in Baghdad. This support came in protest to the shelling of border regions and the Iranian regime’s aggressions against Iraqi Kurdistan.
Azzaman wrote: Fa’eq Kobeli, the coordinator of this campaign announced in a press conference in the Culture House in the city of Sulaymaniya: “This campaign began on Friday by gathering signatures, continuing into Saturday, condemning the continuous shelling of villages in the Kurdistan region and the silence of the regional government and Baghdad while villagers are suffering from these attacks.”
