Bush keeps up his precision on Iran

The Financial Times in an article published on Tuesday, Jan. 15, titled “Bush changes his tone” wrote what could be felt from recent comments of Gorge Bush during his tour to Middle East was that the US policy on Iran has not changed at all and Iranian regime is considered as a threat for the world’s security…

The article continues that Pres. Bush is right on focusing on the activities of the Iranian regime. This regime must be transparent with the IAEA on its nuclear activities before 2003 in which it was after making nuclear bomb. The international community should also carry on persisting in its demand for suspension of uranium enrichment program in Iran.

The Kuwaiti daily Al-Qabas wrote on Jan. 15 that the US president in his visit to Saudi Arabia tried to convince Saudis to take a clear position against Iranian regime and to support for peace process and a settlement between Palestinians and Israelis by the end of 2008. Most of the Persian Gulf region and Arab countries are trying to stop Iranian intervention, although they don’t want another war in the region.
