Boko Haram Rampages, Slaughters in Northeast Nigeria – Wall Street Boko Haram Rampages, Slaughters in Northeast Nigeria

According to CNN more than 30,000 people in northeast Nigeria have been displaced after Boko Haram attacks killed hundreds, possibly thousands of people over the weekend, officials said. Hundreds of Islamist gunmen seized the town of Baga and neighboring villages.
AP reported that hundreds of bodies — too many to count — remain strewn in the bush in Nigeria from an Islamic extremist attack that Amnesty International suggested Friday is the “deadliest massacre” in the history of Boko Haram.
Reuters says Nigerian ground forces backed by air strikes are fighting to reclaim Baga from Islamist militant group Boko Haram which seized the northeastern town and a nearby military base at the weekend, according to a government source.
