Two months after Maliki threatened to use force to uproot the Ramadi protest camp, popular movements have turned into armed wars between tribes and Maliki’s forces, Al Jazeera TV reported.
During the past two months from the start of these wars, armed tribes have imposed their control over important cities and areas in Anbar Province. Maliki’s forces have not been able to infiltrate into Fallujah and armed tribes have managed to strengthen their control over the city’s four entrances.
