While World leaders gathering New York to take part in the United Nations General Assembly, France is seen condemning Bashar Assad of Syria, CNN reported on Sunday.
In recent weeks various Western officials have talked about Assad having a role in the future of Syria, yet French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius says Bashar Assad is the main perpetrator of the current situation and according to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, Bashar Assad has committed crimes against humanity and remains the root of this catastrophe. Even if the West tells the people of Syria that the future of their country is tied with Bashar Assad, the West will put itself in a failing position, Fabius said.
