Two sources in the US reported Washington has a plan to provide more training for armed Syrian opposition and send them a consignment of light weaponry. Officials informed of this plan have told Reuters the US will send these weapons to moderate rebels in Jordan and southern Syrian border areas. This package will be small and will not include surface to air missiles.
