
The Arab League held its 144th session on Sunday with the Foreign Ministers of Member States taking part as the United Arab Emirates presided the meeting.
Twenty eight subjects were discussed in this session, according to Arab League Deputy Secretary General Ahmed bin Hali, including Palestine, the latest clashes between Arabs and Israel, efforts to resolve the crisis in Syria and the growing refugee crisis.
Bin Hali referred to the special meetings taking place at the sidelines of this session. UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura will be presenting a report on the situation in Syria.
Libya, Iraq and Yemen were also weighed out in these talks.
