Mohamed Na’me Darwish, aka Zolfaqar, a known Lebanese Hezbollah element has been recently killed in the city of Zabadani and he is arranged to be buried in southern Beirut, reports indicate.
It is worth noting that the city of Zabadani is a flashpoint battleground between Free Syrian Army fighters against Assad troops and Hezbollah members due to its control over the international highway linking Damascus and Beirut. This town is strategically important and it allowed the entrance of Hezbollah elements into Syria. To this day Free Syrian Army forces have through this region inflicted severe blows to the Lebanese Hezbollah.
