Afghanistan to sign U.S. security agreement on Tuesday

Reuters – Sep 29, 2014 – Afghanistan will on Tuesday sign a crucial security agreement allowing the United States to leave a small contingent of troops in the country beyond this year, a U.S. embassy spokeswoman said.
The spokeswoman said Afghanistan’s new President Ashraf Ghani would sign the agreement in the morning at the presidential palace in the capital, Kabul.
