According to Al-Hurra TV, Dr. Saleh Mutlaq, leader of the Iraqi Front for National Dialogue, said that armed men attacked tribal sheiks when leaving a conference held for Diyala tribes in central Baghdad, leaving three sheikhs killed 5 others injured.

Dr. Mutlaq described this terrorist operation as an attempt to destroy the national project founded by his front.

Dr. Saleh Mutlaq asserted that the Iraqi security organs have underdid to follow the attackers.
It should be noted that despite security improvement, the present Iraqi government hasn’t yet responded to strict demand of Iraqi nationalist currents for purging security organs of militias and death squads affiliated to the Iranian, especially purging them of the Badr Corps elements.
