A force of 1,000 Qatari troops have entered Yemen through the Wadiya border crossing in Saudi Arabia towards Ma’reb Province in the southern Arabian Peninsula country, Al Jazeera TV reported on Sunday, September 6th.
This force has brought heavy equipment, semi-heavy weapons, defensive missiles and advanced communications devices. Arab coalition forces have strengthened this unit with 30 Apache helicopters, missile launchers and armored vehicles.
It is said that the entrance of Qatari forces into Yemen will continue for the next few days. Considering the entrance of Gulf Cooperation Council military forces into Yemen, their numbers have now reached 10,000 boots on the ground and they are scheduled to take part in the liberation of Sana’a.
