BBC Website, England, June 26, 2008 – In an interview with BBC, Geoffrey Faltman, general director of the near east affairs of the US state department said:

The US State department is going to review this year the issue of PMOI as a terrorist organization. The state department must do this every five years according to the law.

Mr. Faltman said that the US State Department has not yet started reviewing the status of the PMOI, which is a very serious issue as he says.
