
The U.S. House Foreign Affairs Committee increases pressure on mullahs’ regime by investigating about Dutch bank I.N.G. deals with this Tehran.
In a report published on the U.S. Congress Website, Ileana Ros-Lehtinen Chairwoman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, in separate letters to US Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner and the head of the ING International Group Executive Committee, demanding information regarding I.N.G. deals with Iranian regime or other governments sponsoring state terrorism.
It is important that the nature and value of the ING infringements carried out in its deals with Iranian regime be revealed, Ros-Lehtinen emphasized.
The penalty should be severe if it is determined that U.S. state terrorism laws have been violated by ING, she added, and it will be a messages for other financial institute that these kinds of activities will not tolerated.
